Starting An Online Agency

(medium difficulty, high consistent income potential)

In my opinion, one of the best WIN-WIN businesses to start right now is an online agency where you manage social media, marketing and more for small businesses. Many businesses will pay monthly for the service, anywhere from $500-$3k. And they get more publicity, and more income; The more income these businesses receive from your effort, the more you can charge.

First, the most important part of this process is to have the software to help you manage. After many years experience, i’ve found that GoHighLevel is the BEST to create this type of business. With gohiglevel you do basically everything needed for businesses and their marketing: email marketing, text marketing, putting all messaging from all social media in one place, hosting courses, creating websites, landing pages, collecting payment and SO much more (there are MANY tutorials on YouTube that teach you how to do anything with this software)

Creating your agency:

Step 1:

Name your business, Create an account on gohighlevel here: https://www.gohighlevel.com/?fp_ref=atlantisawakens They give you 2 weeks free trial and then It’s $99/month to manage 2 business, or $299 for unlimited businesses (You’ll be able to manage all businesses you provide this software to in one place, while keeping all of their data separated)

Step 2:

Plan your pricing. I recommend something like $500 per month per service, different services include: email marketing, text marketing, automation, website creation, social media management, customer service management (if business gets larger, this will not be worth doing for only $500/month) Set up an account on stripe.com to collect payment, watch tuturials on how to connect this to your gohiglevel account

Step 3:

Find small businesses near you that don’t have much of an online presence. This can be done by asking friends and family, scrolling around on google maps to see local businesses near you, joining different small business Facebook groups and more. Usually you can find your first 1-4 customers within the people that you know directly. Your target market is someone who has a business that is making an income and that doesn’t have a strong presence online. You only want to work with people that you can actually help, that is the key to a successful business long term. Really study their business before inviting them to a call, and take notes on how you can help improve their business, whether it’s through better social media content, email/text marketing or otherwise Talk to them on the phone, in person, or over zoom get to understand their goals, and point out the notes you took on their business beforehand, present your prices ask when they’re ready to get started Talking to 10 people should get you 2-5 customers Use half of this money to pay yourself and the other half of this money to give those customers a good experiences (You don’t need to know how to do everything )

Step 4:

Utilize tools like ChatGPT and find other people on sites like upwork.com or fiverr.com to do the things that you don’t want to do, or don’t know how to do. Hiring others on those sites works well when you find someone that’s good and you build a Long term relationship with them, teaching them how to become better at the job over time

Step 5:

Figure out ways to automate your business, asking yourself, what are the tasks that I spend most time in that I can have a system, or another person do *if you get this far and get stuck or would like some support or guidance, just reach out to me 😇
